Reducing milk production at drying-off in the dairy cow-

We have a new  management aid from Europe is the ‘No-Milk Drying-Off Bolus’

No milk bolus does not only help in milk production reduction, but also helps to regenerate the udder during dry period. Our new “No-Milk Bolus”

The product is composed mostly of concentrated herbal extracts:

Sage - supports the reduction of milk production through the physiological suppression of the secretory activity of the mammary gland.

Parsley - traditionally used during the end of lactation; supports the natural reduction of milk production and relieves udder engorgement.

Peppermint - exhibits antibacterial properties and supports regenerative processes, improving the cow’s comfort during the initial dry-off period.

Jasmine flower - helps to reduce the likelihood of inflammatory conditions.

Chaste tree / Chasteberry (Vitex agnus-castus) - supports the body’s hormonal regulation.

Neem leaves - have a broad spectrum of health-promoting properties that support better udder regeneration during the lactation period.

How to use No-Milk bolus?

Administer 1 bolus orally immediately after the last milking, before drying cow off. In high-yielding cows, repeat the dose after 24 hours.
