Difficult Calvings
Difficult calvings due to legs back, breech and head back are unavoidable to a degree, but overfatness and oversize calves are usualy avoidable. Obviously overfattness can be avoided by feeding level. Calves too lrge for the cow or heifer is a more complex genetic matter, but breed choice and choice of a bull within a breed are important. I would refer you Alta Genetics, whose bull testing program is very reliable- I ll let them explain...
